Documents

In this page, I’ve compiled three sorts of documents. Things I’ve written, things that I’ve read about mathematics and that interested me, and things that I’ve read that do not pertain to mathematics that also peaked my interest.

About mathematics

  • On proof and progress in mathematics, William Thurston. In an age where LLM’s can produce thousands of pages of theorems “easily” , the questions “What is it that mathematicians do ?”, “What is the goal of mathematics ?” or “What constitutes progress in mathematics?” are questions that I think should be asked more often. This 30-page paper tackles some of these questions, and is readable by both the mathematician and the non-mathematician.
